Job Description:

Join a busy Emergency Department in Corpus Christi, TX, for a 13-week travel assignment as a Registered Nurse working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the chance to engage with a diverse patient population presenting low to moderate acuity cases, including ESI levels 4 and 5, with occasional higher complexity. You will be responsible for assessments, medication administration, wound care, IV insertions, and lab draws, all while utilizing advanced equipment like cardiac monitors and Baxter IV pumps. The setting features a 16-bed ED with 8 hall chairs, staffed by a team experienced in trauma and emergency procedures. This assignment provides an opportunity to expand your trauma experience as the hospital is transitioning from a Level IV to a Level II trauma center. Expect a collaborative environment that values compassion, urgency, and teamwork, with a focus on timely care for stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma patients.
