This Neuro Unit opportunity in Wilmington, North Carolina, offers a chance for a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to step into a specialized environment focused on neurological patient care. Working 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, you'll be primarily responsible for managing a patient load with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and effective communication within a fast-paced neuro setting. This assignment is perfect for nurses eager to deepen their neuro experience, with a possibility for first-time travelers to join. Note that this is an auto-offer position and RTO is not permitted after booking; additional RTO requests may result in cancellations. You will be expected to float to other units as needed, participate in storm or hurricane teams, and complete a 24-hour unit orientation. The week’s commitment totals 48 hours, with a guaranteed 13-week duration, earning an estimated gross weekly pay of $2,387.18.
