Job Description:

Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse for a 16-week night shift contract in Augusta, Georgia. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing care to a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics. This assignment offers the opportunity to hone your skills in a neuro/stroke PCU floor, handling respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical cases, with continuous telemetry monitoring. Expect a ratio of 1:4 on a unit with 36 beds and an average daily census of 30. The environment emphasizes teamwork with systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR, and requires flexibility to float within scope of practice. No call duties are involved, but major holidays require your availability. RTO options are limited to a maximum of 7 days. Frequent orientation hours are provided, and compliance is essential to start on time.
