Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Intermediate Unit in Kansas City as a PCU Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry. This 13-week contract offers a unique chance to work on a 24-bed unit that handles intermediate medical and surgical overflow, including procedures like TURPS, lap chol, and eye surgeries. You’ll be part of a team that keeps the flow moving, supervising a patient load that on rare occasions might increase to one nurse caring for six patients. The shift is nights, starting at 6:45 PM and ending at 7:15 AM, with opportunities for weekend work to keep your schedule flexible. Expect to engage in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV insulin protocols, wound care, and more—skills that keep your expertise sharp and your days varied.
