Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit in Bismarck, ND, as a Cardiac Tele RN for a 13-week contract. This role offers a unique chance to work with adult and geriatric patients experiencing cardiac and respiratory issues, including post-cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and COVID-related complications. You'll be reading and interpreting vital strips, managing titratable drips like Heparin and Amio, and collaborating with charge nurses and techs who support a patient load of roughly 4 to 6 on nights and 4 on days. Shift hours are 12-hour nights, with a scheduled 48 hours per week, providing ample opportunity for both work and personal time. The environment emphasizes teamwork, troubleshooting ventilators and monitors, and adjusting to a variety of cardiac and respiratory conditions with minimal supervision. Credentialing includes BLS and ACLS, with previous PCU experience, Epic EMR familiarity, and ability to read strips being key requirements.
