Job Description:

Join a prestigious Level 1 Trauma Center as an Operating Room Registered Nurse, working night shifts of 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) for a 13-week contract. This role offers the chance to scrub and circulate in a wide variety of high-acuity cases, including orthopedic trauma, spine procedures, neuro/craniotomy for tumors, robotic surgeries using Xi, SP, and DaVinci systems, bariatric surgeries such as gastric sleeves and bypasses, as well as laparoscopic and open abdominal surgeries for both benign and oncologic conditions. A minimum of three years of OR experience, along with strong trauma skills, is essential. Previous travel experience and certification in BLS (required) and CNOR (preferred) will make you stand out. The OR primarily operates on the main unit, with no block scheduling, and local candidates are encouraged to apply. Expect to participate in 8-12 hours of on-call shifts per month, providing ample opportunity for flexibility and additional earnings.
