Job Description:

Join an experienced Operating Room team in Springfield as a Registered Nurse specializing in surgical procedures. This contract offers the chance to work in a Level I trauma center, covering 23 operating rooms with a variety of cases including general surgery, trauma, orthopedic, urology, and plastic surgery. Expect to be involved in laparoscopic assisted procedures, trauma interventions, and organ donation cases. The schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts, providing ample time to enjoy the city’s offerings and nearby attractions. Your role will focus on supporting diverse surgical cases, maintaining high standards in patient safety and sterile practice, and collaborating closely with the surgical team. Job Specifics:

Location: Springfield, Illinois
Shift: 10-hour days, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (alternating shifts 10:45-12:45 and 12:45-9:15)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hourly Commitment: 40 hours per week
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,495.20
