Job Description:

This RN contract position places you in the fast-paced environment of a surgical unit specializing in both pre-operative and post-operative care for a diverse range of surgery patients. You'll work four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., with some days extending to 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Expect to coordinate with a skilled team, providing vigilant patient monitoring, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth transitions through the surgical process. Unique to this role is the variety of surgical cases—from general to bariatric—making each shift engaging and dynamic. The setting includes EPIC electronic medical records and equipment designed for phase 2 recovery, offering a comprehensive experience in surgical recovery nursing.
