Job Description:

This operating room RN contract offers an engaging opportunity to work across multiple service lines in a Level I trauma center. The role involves handling a variety of surgical cases, including general, trauma, bariatric, neurology, orthopedic, plastic, transplant, and urology procedures. You will be responsible for supporting complex surgeries such as laparoscopic-assisted cases, craniotomies, arthroscopies, and microvascular free flaps, ensuring smooth patient flow and surgical success. Expect to be part of a team that values precision and adaptability, with shifts scheduled for 12 hours from 10:45 AM to 11:15 PM, three days per week. This assignment is ideal for seasoned OR nurses who thrive in high-stakes environments and are comfortable working independently within scope. You’ll work with Cerner’s electronic charting system and must bring your expertise in trauma, general, and specialty surgeries to meet the demands of this vibrant facility.
