Job Description:

Join a specialized ICU team as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at a renowned hospital in New Orleans. This 13-week contract offers a chance to navigate high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on post-operative recovery for cardiac and transplant patients. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, participating in a team that often moves between ICUs and SDUs, and be prepared for possible emergency team activates that may require staying beyond scheduled hours. Your expertise with Epic, PA catheters, balloon pumps, and RRT will be essential to provide top-tier care in this critical setting.
