Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract at a busy hospital in Tyler, TX. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, providing essential patient care in a 19-room unit that caters to a diverse age range, from young adults to the elderly. The focus is on patients requiring medical surgical monitoring, including those with neurology and neurosurgical diagnoses, with telemetry and oximetry capabilities in place. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with Epic charting, and certifications in NIHSS and BLS. Your daily duties may include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with a healthcare team to deliver effective care. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a facility that prioritizes complex, skilled medical surgical care in a setting that is as supportive as it is challenging.
