Job Description:

Join our team in Peoria as a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse for a 13-week contract in a bustling Cath Lab. This role involves aiding in the management of complex cardiac procedures, including TAVR and MitraClip, in a fast-paced setting with a high daily volume of cases. You'll work 10-hour shifts, with ample opportunity to hone your skills in diagnostic and interventional cardiology. Experience reading strips and titrating drips is essential. It’s a chance to be part of a specialized team, with on-call duties and weekend shifts, all while enjoying the unique rhythm of this vibrant city.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated Cath Lab team, working with advanced equipment such as GE and Philips monitors, in a setting that handles an average of 4-20 cases daily. Expect to work closely with cardiologists on a 24-hour on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays, with additional emergency duties as needed. Scrubs are provided, and a unit-specific orientation will prepare you for success during your assignment.
