Job Description:

This travel ultrasound technician role offers a great chance to work in a hospital setting in Council Bluffs, Iowa, specializing in general ultrasound procedures. You'll be working in the radiology department, operating mainly general ultrasound equipment in two dedicated rooms. Expect to perform scans on both adult and pediatric patients, including GI fluoroscopy and DEXA scans. The shift is an 8-hour night schedule, with responsibilities including on-call ultrasound coverage once a week and every fourth weekend, providing a mix of routine procedures and quick response work. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, offering a steady pace and a focused work environment that emphasizes technical expertise rather than patient interaction.
