Job Description:
Join us as an ER RN on a 13-week travel assignment at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, Indiana. This role offers the opportunity to work with a Level II Trauma unit, providing critical emergency care in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting. You'll primarily cover 12-hour mids, from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., with some shifts beginning earlier or later based on unit needs. Perfect for a resilient and detail-oriented nurse with at least three years of ER experience, especially those comfortable managing acute trauma cases and pediatric emergencies. Job Specifics:
Location: Evansville, IN
Shift: 12-hour mids, 3 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Duration: 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week (may extend to 40).
Note: The role involves managing emergency cases in a Level II Trauma setting, including pediatric emergencies and managing dysrhythmias. You will need to pass a 12-lead EKG exam and be proficient in Epic charting, with recent experience within the past year required. Certifications such as AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are mandatory. No float requirements, and no on-call shifts are scheduled. Holiday and weekend coverage are required every other week. Covid-19 vaccination is not mandated, but subject to change.
