Job Description:

Join a fast-paced ICU team in Freeport, Illinois, for an exciting 16-week travel contract. This role offers the opportunity to work in a busy ICU with a variety of diagnoses, including sepsis, stroke, DKA, and pneumonia. You'll be part of a skilled team running code blue situations and managing critical care patients with some lower acuity cases. The shift is a 12-hour night rotation, providing a unique experience in a supportive environment where ICU nurses are trusted to run codes and titrate medications like Levo, Neo, and Propofol. Experience with Meditech and previous travel assignments are highly preferred. Expect to work with a combination of primary care nursing, telemetry, and support staff, including CNA and care support, for a well-rounded critical care experience.
