Job Description:

Join Mercy Hospital Fort Smith as an experienced RN on the 3rd Floor ICU/CVICU/Surgical/Neuro-Mixed Unit for a 13-week contract. This night shift role involves caring for a diverse patient population with medical, neuro surgery, and cardiovascular surgery needs. You'll be providing direct patient care with a patient ratio of 2/3:1, utilizing EMR systems like EPIC, and working with equipment such as vents, hemodynamics, and CRRT (a plus). Expect to work 36 hours per week during 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend off. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, along with certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Preparation and competency testing in medication and math are mandatory to ensure patient safety, emphasizing the importance of analytical skills in this role.
