Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel contract at a renowned Level 1 Trauma Center in Kansas City, MO, where you’ll be part of the dedicated 6 East Ortho/Trauma unit. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts, providing specialized orthopedic and trauma nursing care to patients recovering from post-op knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as trauma and neuro overflow cases. You’ll have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment like traction and fixators, and utilize Meditech documentation systems. This assignment is a great fit if you thrive in a fast-paced environment that values bedside shift reports and hourly rounding. Experience in orthopedic, trauma, and neuro settings is essential, along with your RN license and BLS certification.
