Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in the heart of Kansas City, working night shifts in the specialized 6W Transplant Nephrology unit. As a nephrology-focused healthcare professional, you'll be part of a team dedicated to supporting kidney transplant and dialysis patients through advanced med/surg care. The role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital, with a balanced schedule that includes three weekend shifts each month. Night shifts mean you'll enjoy the quiet of the hospital after hours, while your expertise helps keep the unit running smoothly. This assignment stands out for its collaborative environment, where virtual nurses assist with patient admissions, freeing bedside staff to focus on direct patient care. You will work with a skilled team, including unit secretaries, PCTs, and educators, all committed to quality care and teamwork.
