Job Description:

Join our team as a behavioral health travel professional for a 13-week contract in Terre Haute, IN. This role offers a chance to work on a unit with 19 beds and a dedicated staff of 45, providing essential mental health services. You'll be handling a mix of medication administration, patient assessments, and basic procedures like blood glucose checks and dressing changes, with some opportunities to work with medical equipment such as wound vacs and cycler dialysis. The night shift, with 12-hour hours, brings a unique rhythm to your workday, and Meditech EMR is the primary documentation system you'll use. Experience of at least 2 years in behavioral health, along with certifications in BLS and CPI, are required to ensure safe and effective care. This assignment is an excellent fit for those who thrive in a specialized unit focused on behavioral health, with a hint of medical and surgical areas to keep things interesting.
