Job Description:

This contract opportunity positions you in a busy, stand-alone emergency department in Austin, Texas, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a duration of 13 weeks. As an RN in this fast-paced environment, you will handle IV starts, 12-lead EKGs, patient assessments, and utilize Meditech EMR to document care. The unit is compact with 11 beds, equipped with Vent and POC Lab machines, providing a hands-on experience with essential emergency protocols. The team includes experienced staff, and the unit offers a collaborative atmosphere focused on quick response and teamwork. Expect to work an average of 36 hours per week, contributing to a crucial part of patient stabilization and rapid intervention in a setting that values adaptability and efficiency.
