Job Description:

Join a vibrant academic medical center in Winston-Salem, NC, for a 13-week travel RN assignment focused on Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. This role offers the chance to work in a Level 1 Trauma designated hospital with a 26-bed unit that handles a variety of general medical conditions, including diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, respiratory, renal concerns, wounds, chest tubes, and trachs. You'll be part of a team that values collaboration and precision, providing attentive care in a setting where teamwork and patient-centered practices are the norm. The shift is a 12-hour day rotation, allowing for a balanced work schedule while engaging with a diverse patient population that reflects a high standard of clinical practice. Expect to manage telemetry strips, perform lab draws, and handle medication administration including PCA pumps and IV management. This is a fantastic opportunity for nurses with at least two years of MedSurg experience who thrive under moderate to high stress, and who are comfortable working with technology like Epic EMR and Phillips Vital Sign monitors. Whether you're an experienced traveler or trying it for the first time, this assignment offers an engaging setting with robust support from RT, Hospitalist, and Intensivist teams.
