Job Description:

This RN - MedSurg/Tele contract offers a chance to step into a bustling hospital setting with a focus on adult medical and telemetry units. You'll be responsible for managing diverse patient conditions, including stroke, respiratory illnesses, renal failure, and wound care, with patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:8 during surge staffing. This role emphasizes skills like cardiac rhythm interpretation, wound management, and central line care, all within an environment that values teamwork and efficiency. The shift is 12 hours at night, providing a rhythm that's both dynamic and predictable. Working in this role, you'll experience the daily rhythm of a facility that uses Epic EMR, virtual nursing technology, and collaborative support from hospitalists and intensivists. Expect to float within the region, enhancing your flexibility and broadening your experience in a fast-paced setting.
