Job Description:

Join a dedicated cardiac telemetry unit at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, for an engaging 13-week travel contract. This role offers a schedule of 12-hour night shifts, providing a consistent overnight routine that encourages focus and expertise in post-cardiac procedural care, including cardiac catheterizations, ablations, and pacemaker placements. As a key team member, you'll interpret EKGs and telemetry strips, administer IV medications such as insulin and amiodarone, and work alongside skilled staff including charge nurses, unit secretaries, and PCTs. The unit's fast-paced environment values patient-centered care—treating each individual with respect, fostering personal connections, and ensuring a positive patient experience.
