Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse on a travel contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a level I trauma teaching hospital, where you'll be vital in the immediate recovery phase after surgeries. Expect to handle post-op recovery for patients undergoing pre/post catheterization procedures, IR procedures, and trauma cases. The schedule includes 12-hour mids shifts, providing a good balance between work and exploration. You’ll be part of a focused team, floating within the PACU and holding areas, managing inpatient-level patients with ratios up to 1:2 or 1:3-5 in the holding area. Experience with telemetry and trauma units is a must, and you'll collaborate closely with an experienced team to ensure smooth patient recovery. Job Specifics:

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: 12-hour mids, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
Duration: 18 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week, including one weekend per month and on-call shifts (1-2 nights/month).
Please note, you must be willing to work at least 2 out of 3 holiday bundles, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Flexibility with floating to the holding area within the PACU is required.
