Job Description:

Join a rewarding neonatal intensive care unit as a registered nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Newark, New Jersey. This role offers an opportunity to work within a Level III NICU, caring for neonates born between 29-34 weeks and over 34 weeks, including those with neonatal abstinence syndrome. Your expertise will be essential in managing complex cardiovascular monitoring, ventilated patients, and neonatal medication administration, all while supporting families through developmental and breastfeeding care. The night shift runs 12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing a chance to gain valuable experience in a top-tier facility known for advanced neonatal treatments like ECMO and nitric oxide. This assignment suits experienced NICU nurses who are confident in floating across units such as NBN, Peds, and PICU, ensuring seamless patient care in a fast-paced environment. In addition to clinical skills, familiarity with EPIC charting is required, and the schedule includes every other weekend, with holidays as needed.
