Join a busy Level I and Level II Trauma Emergency Department in Montgomery, Alabama, for a 13-week travel assignment that truly keeps you on your toes. This role is perfect for seasoned emergency professionals with at least 2 years of critical care experience, especially those familiar with Cerner or Epic electronic medical records. You'll be handling multi-system trauma cases, STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, and a variety of other complex patient presentations. Expect to coordinate transfers and work alongside a skilled team, including charge nurses, receptionists, and phlebotomists. If you thrive in fast-paced settings with a mix of routine and high-acuity situations, this assignment offers a rewarding challenge in a vibrant city.

Location: Montgomery, Alabama. The shift schedule includes 7a-7p, 7p-7a, 11a-11p, or 3p-3a, with a 4-week cycle. The assignment is 48 hours per week for 13 weeks, offering a unique chance to immerse yourself in high-acuity emergency medicine. The hospital has a supportive team, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 for ER, 1:5 for multi-system holds, and 1:3 for ICU holds. Orientation includes 24 hours of classroom training plus on-unit training for newcomers. Holiday coverage may be required, with blackout dates observed.
