Job Description:

Join a bustling high acuity surgical and trauma unit in Atlanta, where your skills will be put to the test on the night shift. This 16-week contract offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with patients including gunshot wounds, quad injuries, and paraplegic cases. Your responsibilities will primarily focus on supporting the surgical and trauma patient population, collaborating with ED nurses and admitting teams, and managing an average patient ratio of 5:1. With experience in a specialized setting and familiarity with Epic electronic medical records, you'll ensure smooth patient transitions during night hours, including support from unit secretaries and phlebotomists. This role demands a minimum of two years' experience in a similar high-acuity setting and willingness to work during nights without RTO. BLS certification is required, and ACLS is preferred. No block schedules—just a dedicated team working together through 12-hour night shifts to make a difference.
