Job Description:

Step into the role of a Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Registered Nurse (RN) and become a vital part of a dedicated postpartum team. This assignment offers an opportunity to focus on mother and newborn care, providing support and education during the critical early days after birth. Working night shifts, you'll support postpartum patients in a 32-bed unit, including antepartum women with fetal monitoring needs, with a typical patient ratio of 1:3 for couplets or up to 6 patients. Your responsibilities will include administering medications such as magnesium, insulin, and heparin drips, supporting breastfeeding, and monitoring newborns over 2000 grams, including late preterm and substance-exposed infants. With the ability to float within the scope to meet unit needs, you'll be instrumental in maintaining seamless patient care during your 12-hour night shifts.
