Job Description:

This PACU RN assignment in Northridge offers a chance to work in a well-equipped unit with a focus on recovery for a variety of surgical cases, including ortho, robotics, and elective cardioversion. Expect to manage patients from post-op recovery to possibly transitioning into ICU care, all while working 12-hour day shifts. You'll need to be comfortable troubleshooting ventilators, interpreting EKG strips, and working with monitors like ICP and ABGs. The role provides a lively environment where quick assessments and collaborative care are essential, with a primary focus on recovery and discharge instructions.
