Job Description:

Join a Progressive Care unit in Hilo for a 13-week assignment as an RN specializing in telemetry and step-down care. This role involves providing primary nursing care to a 15-bed unit, including monitoring telemetry strips, performing fingerstick blood sugars, and managing patient equipment such as BIPAP and cardiac monitors. The scheduled shift is 36 hours per week, following orientation, with no guaranteed hours or call. You'll be working in a setting that requires flexibility to float across various units like ICU, Medical, Surgical, Peds, and Emergency, ensuring a well-rounded experience in different hospital departments. If you hold an active Hawaii license and have recent acute care experience, this opportunity offers a chance to engage in meaningful patient care in a dynamic environment that blends clinical precision with a touch of island charm.
