Job Description:

This respiratory therapy role at a prestigious children's hospital places you in the NICU, working predominantly during evening hours. You'll be responsible for providing high-level respiratory support for neonates with complex needs, including those in a Level 4 NICU, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The scheduled shifts are 12 hours during the night, offering a rhythm that allows for productive work with ample time off between rotations. The unit employs a self-scheduling model, encouraging you to participate actively in managing your hours, though flexibility is key as the team strives to meet everyone's preferences. Experience with cardiac PICU and Level 4 NICU cases, along with certifications such as RRT, BLS, and NRP, are required. This assignment offers the chance to refine specialized skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
