Job Description:

This 16-week travel assignment places you on a 12-hour night shift (7p-7:30a) at a busy Med Surg unit in Schenectady, NY. You'll be working on a 32-bed surgical unit specializing in advanced pulmonary care, including pneumonia and COPD patients. The role involves managing IV infusions, tele remote monitoring, trach and BIPAP/CPAP equipment, and assisting with patient transport and IV starts. Expect a fast-paced environment where floating within your unit competencies is required, and no self-scheduling or block scheduling is permitted. Experience with pulmonary patients, a minimum of two years in the specialty, and certification in BLS are essential. Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. You’ll be scheduled based on the unit’s needs, and orientation occurs twice a month. This opportunity offers $2,158.23 gross weekly pay, with a 36-hour commitment per week.
