Job Description:

Join Wythe County Community Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Wytheville, Virginia. You'll be working on the hospital-wide night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., providing critical respiratory support to adult, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients. This role involves managing ventilators, administering oxygen therapy, and working with equipment like VENTS, EKGs, BIPAPS, and O2 in a busy, well-equipped setting. The hospital is the only facility in Wythe County, serving a primary area of around 36,000 residents, and offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in a community-focused environment. Expect a schedule of approximately 36 hours per week, with guaranteed hours and rotating weekends. As part of this assignment, you'll experience a dynamic unit dedicated to high-quality care in a facility recognized with the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.
