Job Description:

This travel contract places you in the bustling ICU at Bay Area Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. As a healthcare professional, you will work 12-hour night shifts on a schedule that cycles through the second and third floors of a 24-bed unit staffed with approximately 50 team members. Your responsibilities include managing critically ill patients requiring advanced equipment such as vents, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impellas, and balloon pumps. This role involves performing procedures like intubation, central lines, and ICP monitoring, all within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Candidates with ICU experience, particularly in trauma or CV surgery, will find their skills well utilized in this unit.
