Job Description:

Join a reputable Level I Trauma Center in Charleston, SC, as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. This 13-week contract involves working three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You'll be circulating and scrubbing on a variety of general surgical cases, including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, Minimally Invasive (DaVinci), Plastics, Endocrine, Pancreatic/Biliary, and Bariatrics. The role offers on-call duties with about 4-6 shifts per 4-week period, and holiday on-call may be required. This assignment provides a chance to experience a fast-paced OR environment within a teaching, Magnet hospital, and to engage in diverse surgical procedures that keep your skills sharp. The position requires a valid SC or multi-state RN license, BLS, ACLS, and a radiation badge, with first-timers accepted only if they have 5+ years of experience circulating and scrubbing these specific cases.
