Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in the Burn ICU at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. You'll work a 12-hour night shift, providing specialized intensive care to critically ill patients. Your role involves managing ventilators, specialty beds, and occasionally CRRT machines, all while adhering to ICU protocols and documentation procedures in Meditech. The unit features a 12-bed capacity with patient ratios of 2:1 for ICU patients and 4:1 for med/surg and pcu patients. Expect to collaborate with charge RNs, RNs, and PCTs, ensuring seamless patient care. The schedule requires a minimum of four weekend shifts within a four-week cycle, and floating policies prioritize contract labor. Prior ICU experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications are essential for this role. The environment offers the chance to utilize advanced equipment and be part of a dedicated team, all while enjoying Nashville’s vibrant healthcare scene.
