Job Description:

Join a hospital in Madison, WI, as a Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour rotating shifts—day and night hours, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. This role involves caring for adult patients with a variety of medical conditions, including geriatric populations, in a med/surg setting that includes handling Department of Corrections patients within a secure wing. The nurse will manage IV insertions, monitor telemetry, and coordinate patient care in a setting that emphasizes safety and security, with DOC staff always present. Expect a dynamic schedule with 36 hours per week, where you'll experience a mix of day and night shifts, and have opportunities to work with a diverse patient base in a hospital environment that values flexibility and skill. A minimum of 2 years of experience, including IV start skills and AHA BLS certification, is required. Prior EPIC experience and telemetry testing are necessary for clearance.
