Job Description:

Join a leading outpatient radiation oncology department as a Radiation Therapist in Rapid City, South Dakota. This 14-week contract offers the chance to work with advanced treatment techniques on the Varian True Beam system, performing SRS, SBRT, and VMAT therapies. The role involves treating a diverse patient population with various cancer types, with an emphasis on outpatient care. You will assign treatments, operate sophisticated equipment, and collaborate with a skilled team of physicists, dosimetrists, oncologists, and support staff. The position is particularly unique for the opportunity to gain experience with Mosaiq record-and-verify software and potentially support CT simulation procedures. Expect a supportive environment with a manageable workload of approximately 65 patients daily, and minimal on-call or holiday requirements.
