Job Description:

Join a specialized electrophysiology (EP) lab team as a Tech Scrub in Austin, TX, working in the stimulating environment of St. David’s Medical Center. This 13-week contract offers the chance to be part of a busy cath and EP lab, performing intricate procedures like ablations, device implants, and structural heart interventions. You'll work 10-hour days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, supporting a team of 28 staff across two EP laboratories. Your role will involve preparing and assisting with complex electrophysiology procedures, ensuring the lab runs smoothly and efficiently. This assignment is perfect for those with at least a year of cath lab or EP lab scrub experience who are comfortable in fast-paced, team-oriented settings. Expect to gain hands-on exposure to cutting-edge electrophysiology equipment, including Carto, Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic systems. The environment demands flexibility, cohesion with teammates, and attention to detailed protocols, with a focus on patient safety and procedural precision.
