Job Description:

Join a reputable healthcare team as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Henderson, Kentucky, for a 13-week travel assignment. This night shift role offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-respected teaching hospital with 45 beds, providing care to a variety of general M/S patients, including post-surgical cases, respiratory issues, and chronic conditions. You'll be responsible for performing complex assessments, managing IV therapies such as PIV insertion and chest tubes, and administering blood products. The schedule is a 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with guaranteed 36 hours weekly and potential overtime after 52 hours. This position requires recent Epic charting experience and a current compact license. Expect to float within skill sets between the main campus and nearby facilities, supporting a highly experienced staff. The environment demands resilience, adaptability, and strong critical thinking.
