Job Description:

Join a fast-paced ICU unit in Omaha, NE, for a 13-week travel contract. This role offers 12-hour night shifts, providing an immersive experience in a tertiary hospital setting with a volume fluctuating based on patient needs. As an ICU nurse here, you'll manage adults and Peds over 15, handling complex cases such as neuro surgeries, respiratory failure, sepsis, and post-surgical recovery. You will be relied upon to titrate drips like vasopressors and sedatives, monitor telemetry on Draeger systems, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including attendings, residents, and students. You need recent ICU experience and all required certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. The unit's environment emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and a proactive attitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a vibrant, high-volume setting.
