Job Description:

Join a specialized peri-anesthesia team in an ambulatory surgery setting that offers a chance to refine your PACU skills in a fast-paced hospital environment. This 13-week contract focuses on providing exceptional care during outpatient procedures, with shifts running evenings from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You’ll be working with a patient population undergoing various outpatient surgical cases, often encountering students and new hires, making it an engaging opportunity to share your expertise. The role involves managing a caseload with an emphasis on patient recovery and safety, utilizing your 3-4 years of PACU experience and EPIC system knowledge to ensure smooth patient transitions. This position guarantees 72 hours biweekly, with a consistent 40 hours per week, providing a balanced but dynamic work experience.
