Job Description:

Join an exciting PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) assignment as a Registered Nurse in Lumberton, North Carolina. This 13-week contract features rotating shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, providing a chance to experience diverse patient care scenarios across multiple surgical specialties, including GYN, orthopedics, Urology, ENT, and more. You will circulate through PreOp, PACU Phase 1 & 2, and occasionally float throughout the unit, managing both pediatric and adult patients, with a mix of routine and complex cases. The role calls for experienced nurses comfortable with critical care skills such as ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and IV setup, working in a fast-paced environment that keeps you on your toes. Expect a schedule every 8 weeks with 36 hours per week, including weekend on-call rotations and night shifts once a week. Certifications like BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI/MOAB must be current prior to start, and experience with Epic EMR and Alaris pumps is required.
