Job Description:

Join a busy adult/geriatric telemetry unit at a regional referral hospital in Lake Havasu City, AZ. This 13-week travel RN position involves providing focused bedside care, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and handling medications for patients recovering from surgery and with acute medical conditions like CHF, CKD, or alcohol withdrawal. Shifts are scheduled as three 12-hour days, offering a chance to settle into a routine while exploring the nearby mountain ranges and tranquil lake scenery. This assignment is ideal for nurses who enjoy a mix of stability and adventure, with opportunities to float to other units like ICU or ED as needed.

Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ
Shift: 12-hour days (three per week)

Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Work environment includes adult and geriatric telemetry patients with patient ratios of 1:6, using Medhost EHR, and requiring recent acute care experience with telemetry competency. Floating is expected to other units such as ICU and ED. Required certifications include ACLS, and candidates should have at least 2 years of RN experience, preferably with preceptor or charge experience. The dress code is black scrubs, with open shoes being unacceptable.
