Job Description:

Join a reputable healthcare facility in Medford, Oregon, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This position is ideal for experienced RNs with a passion for acute general medical care, including conditions such as GI issues, pneumonia, CHF, and infectious diseases like COVID and meningitis. You’ll be a vital part of the MedSurg team, providing exceptional patient support in 36 private beds, with patient ratios of 1:4-6. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and respect for the care bundles and feedback received. Nurses may occasionally titrate heparin or cardizem drips and will be expected to have a foundational understanding of strip interpretation, though telemonitor techs are on-site. The unit operates under a charge nurse and house supervisor, with nursing aides supporting staff, and offers a professional environment where excellence and service matter.
