Job Description:

Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a 12-week assignment in Columbus, Georgia. This role involves performing advanced nuclear imaging procedures such as HIDA scans, Bone scans, Lymphoscintigraphy, Gastric Emptying, Brain Death assessments, Myocardial Perfusion SPECT, and various I-123 and I-131 scans, including Ablations. The technologist will work Monday through Friday, 8-hour days, with responsibilities centered around operating Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems, adhering to scrub color codes, and possibly floating to Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside for STAT inpatients. The position includes possible call shifts during evenings and weekends, with expectations to work during major holidays if scheduled. This role offers a chance to develop expertise in a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures within a hospital setting, providing a valuable experience for professionals seeking to refine their technical skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, certification from NMTCB or ARRT (NM), and be comfortable with the specified unit systems and patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
