Job Description:

This MRI technologist role in Wilmington, North Carolina, offers an engaging 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Wednesday through Saturday. You'll be performing advanced imaging procedures across various body parts including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal areas, using GE and Siemens equipment. The position emphasizes experience with diffusion imaging, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2 sequences, and CINE imaging. The role requires a minimum of two years of MRI experience and ARRT certification, along with BLS. This assignment is unique in its fast-paced environment, directly supporting both radiology and cardiology imaging needs, with on-call requirements during emergency situations and potential storm or disaster response. Full availability for orientation is essential for a smooth start, and the schedule may flex based on class and trainer availability.
