Job Description:

This telemetry nursing assignment offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced hospital setting where you’ll be responsible for monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips. Prior to starting, you will self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation—think of it as a rock-solid credential for this float pool. Your duties include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and collaborating with the broader healthcare team. You'll work across diverse patient groups, including geriatric, medical/surgical, psychiatric, and telemetry patients, providing high-quality, holistic care. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, with a typical workweek of 36 hours, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. ACLS certification is required, and recent EPIC EMR experience is essential. Expect a dynamic environment where technical skills and quick thinking are key to success.
