Job Description:

This 13-week assignment places you in the role of a Registered Nurse working 12-hour night shifts at a reputable facility in Omaha, Nebraska. You'll join a specialized Oncology PCU (5 North), caring for adult oncology and trauma patients—some of whom are in significant recovery or requiring complex treatment. The unit emphasizes teamwork, respectful patient interactions, and supporting patients through their journey from diagnosis to remission. Expect to perform medication titrations such as Insulin and Cardizem drips and manage common chemotherapeutic and supportive medications. The environment encourages self-scheduling and floating to other Med/Surg and PCU units based on patient needs. This role offers a great opportunity to apply your oncology experience, sharpen your skills with a variety of equipment including high-flow respiratory devices and IV pumps, and work with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellent patient care.
