Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Omaha, Nebraska, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role offers an engaging opportunity to care for diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, pulmonary, cardiac, and behavioral health patients. The unit's unique setting often requires floating within various specialized wards, making adaptability and experience in large urban hospitals essential. Nurses will be responsible for managing drips, utilizing EPIC charting, and providing care within staffing ratios that occasionally extend to 1:7. This position requires prior experience of at least two years in a similar clinical environment, with a focus on safety and patient de-escalation training provided for behavioral health concerns.
